Bharat Pensioners Samaj Leads Digital Literacy Drive for Indian Pensioners

New Delhi, February 27, 2025Bharat Pensioners Samaj (BPS), in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has been empowering pensioners through its Digital Literacy Campaign, launched on 16th July 2024. Under the initiative "Each One Teach One", 19 workshops have been conducted across 14 cities, benefiting 698 pensioners with training in cybersecurity, online banking, and digital services like Digital Life Certificates (DLCs).

Bridging the Digital Divide

With pension services shifting online, many senior citizens struggle with navigating digital platforms safely. BPS’s campaign provides interactive training, mentorship, and live demonstrations, ensuring financial security and digital confidence.

Scaling Impact: Free Digital Literacy Resources

BPS is now developing free educational materials on digital awareness to reach pensioners nationwide, helping even those unable to attend workshops.
